Our year ten Textiles and Art classes went on their annual excursion to
Sydney for two days. They stayed at Darling Harbour and during their time
there went to the TAFE costume parade – where students from all areas of
TAFE participated including dance performers and make-up artists. Students
also attended a Textiles Art exhibition in the Botanical Gardens, the Art
Gallery, Chinatown, Haymarket and Opera Centre in Surry Hills – who make all
props, production sets and costumes for Sydney Opera Productions where
students got to try on some costumes.
